Kara Tepe gave us this trailer to use for our Baby Care Centre- a place that will be open to women and their babies and also used when we are on call to emergency babysit. It is coming along so nicely! After working laundry in the morning, I came back to the box to wash down the walls, now that all the junk has been cleared out.
When they gave it to us it was full of things other NGOs (non-governemntal organizations) had left behind.
I’m so lucky to be project lead on this because I get to see the complete transformation. Each day we move closer to making this a cozy, welcoming environment and it is my favorite thing to do.

As we were cleaning, children flooded in wanting to help. It was so fun to have them all involved, and their little shouts of “teacher, teacher!” when they wanted to show me something still make me smile so much. It’s been a couple of years since I worked with kids and I forget how much energy and hppiness it gives me. This was by far the best day here yet!
