Worked in camp called Kara Tepe today. It is one of the most stable camps on the island so we have assigned jobs here as opposed to crisis management that we do in Moria.
This morning I helped run the laundry room which can be a struggle because of how fast paced it gets during appointment times. The room was an ice box and I did not bring warm enough shoes for it!
After lunch we went to a shop to get some cleaning supplies etc. and it contained the most wild assortment of products, luckily including boots so I got a pair. It’s really muddy in one camp and just cold in the other so proper shoes are a must.
In the afternoon I started cleaning out our future baby care trailer. It has allll sorts of stuff from other NGOs that used it in the past so it will take a couple of days to clean out and then we’ll repaint and get some furnishings, so that will be my project for the next few days.
